Rudy Roger Alderete ’93, age 45 of Albuquerque, died February 3, 2020. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Richard Alderete Jr., Robert Alderete, Julianna Sanchez, Ronald Alderete, Lisa Suazo, Mary Ellen Alderete, Raymond Alderete, Radford Alderete ’94, and Anna Barela.

Edward W. Cassidy, age 86 of Albuquerque, died January 29, 2020. He was preceded by his  first wife, Patricia (Howard) and their son, Steven ’78. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Rolfe and sons, Gregory and Kevin; and several grandchildren. 

Steve Cheshire ’68 died April 1, 2020. He is the brother of Teresa Abbate ’77, Catherine Testerman ’69, Jacqueline Yagow ’82, Dean Cheshire ’71, Gregory Cheshire ’80, Richard Cheshire ’74, Stanley Cheshire ’83 and Timothy Cheshire ’75.

John Keith Coash, age 86 of Albuquerque died December 25, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois, of 66 years; children, Mary Jo Coash Lee ’79, John Peter Coash, and James Patrick Coash; and five grandchildren.

Frank Robert Dodson “Bob” ’64, age 73 of Albuquerque, died March 16, 2020. He is survived by his sister, Carol Dodson Stringfield ’61, and his brother, Rick Dodson.

Deacon Rene Greivel died March 31, 2020. He led St. Pius X High School’s Campus Ministry Team for the past 20 years.

Charles S. “Chuck” Lanier, age 98 of Albuquerque, died December 20, 2019. He is survived by Rita Lanier, his wife of 71 years; five children, David Lanier ’69, Cliff Lanier ’71, Debbie Gunderson ’73, Chuck Lanier ’75, and Randy Lanier ’78; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Joseph John Mohorcich, age 87 of Albuquerque, died January 19, 2020. Joe is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara; his children, Gayle ’74, John ’76, Ann ’79, Lynn ’81, Mark ’83, 10 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

Maria E. Maldonado, age 69 of Albuquerque, died February 21, 2020. She is survived by her husband Andres Maldonado, St. Pius X High School facilities and maintenance employee.

Lana K Wagner Quirk ’88 died in March 2020. She is the sister of Brent Wagner ‘86.

Charles Radaelli, age 83 of Albuquerque, died December 24, 2019. Chuck is survived by his wife Lucille, their three daughters Anna Radaelli ’82, Hollyann Radaelli ’77 and Happy Radaelli ’79, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Gloria Jean Sanchez, age 90 of Albuquerque, died December 3, 2019. Gloria is survived by her high school sweetheart/husband of almost 70 years Edwin, and their four children, Kathleen Therese, Jonathan Paul, Denise Marie, and Jacqueline Veronica ’78, in addition to seven grandkids, and two great-grandchildren.

Gloria Sotelo, age 83 of Albuquerque, died February 25, 2020. Gloria is survived by her husband, Ricardo; her children David ’78, Leticia, Alex, Daniel, and Susanna; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mary Catherine Stenovec (Ginsburg), age 93 of Albuquerque, died February 8, 2020. She is survived by her children Gerald Michael ’69, John Thomas, Paul Andrew ’81, Joan Boyer ’83; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Patricia Anne Stromberg of Albuquerque died December 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Stromberg; and her children, Joseph, John ’73, Thomas ’71, and Marcella. She is survived by her children, Mary ’68, Mark ’69, Ann ’73, Peter ’76, Paul ’79 and Jim ’80.
