Joan Dorothy Quist Beddo, age 89 of Albuquerque, died February 17, 2021. Joan’s survivors include her four daughters, Debbie Gouldsmith, Bobbie (Wayne) Johnson, Jennie Beddo and Karen Dwyer ’79; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Constance (Connie Ryan) Beystrum64 died on February 26, 2021. She was predeceased by her brother Danny Ryan69. She is survived by her children Heidi Harris, Wendy Hall, Amy Lucero and Ryan Beystrum. She is also survived by her siblings Mike Ryan ’63, Colleen Domme ’71, Kelly Ryan ’75, Marty Ryan ’76, Duffy Ryan ’77,Mindy Hancock ’80, Lori Ryan ’81 and Kerry Ryan85.

Mary Claire (Bertram) Bujnowski ’76, age 62 of Houston, Texas, died December 23, 2020. Mary is survived by her husband Stan and their children Alena and Alex, her sister Marcy Griego ’79, her brother Jim Bertram ’82 and his wife Kerry ’82, many nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved dog Boris. 

Victor James Fattor, age 89 of Albuquerque, died January 7, 2021. He is survived by his wife Mary; three children: Steven ’79 (Teri), Todd ’81 (Danielle), and Marla; his grandchildren: Brian ’08, Kristin ’10 (Steven), Sean ’12, Caitlin ’14, Lindsay and Joe; and one great-grandchild, Charlotte Rose.

Moana Marie (Silver) Fisher ’84, age 54 of Kane’ohe, Hawai’i, died December 20, 2020. Moana’s survivors include her husband, Larry Fisher; children, Nanea (Javis Lagasca), Kela, and Alana Fisher; father, James Silver; and siblings, Maile (Steve) Henson, Greg (April) Silver, Telu (Hector) Ramos, and Jim (Shin) Silver.

Allen R. Gelinas MD, age 83 of Albuquerque, died January 21, 2021. Allen is survived by his sons, Michael Gelinas MD ’80; Claude Gelinas MD ’81; Marc Gelinas; Joel Gelinas PA ’88; and 14 grandchildren including Alexandra Bennett-Gelinas ’02.

Julianne Ness Green, age 90 of Albuquerque, died February 12, 2021. She was a beloved biology teacher at St. Pius X High School for 44 years. She is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, Lindsey J. Green; son, Sean Green ’72 (Nancy); daughter, Gaelin De Visser ’82 (Robert); daughter, Anaclaire Hunter ’84 (Lemna); nine grandchildren including Brooke ’02, and Joel ’05; and two great-grandchildren.

Rose Mary (Posey) Hagarman ’64, age 74 of Albuquerque, died January 5, 2021. Posey is survived by her sisters Jean (Penny) Baker (Pat); Donna Bondioli (Sereno), and Nancy Burns (Jay).

Barbara (Hollowwa) Harris ’68, age 70 of Northern Lea County, New Mexico, died November 28, 2020. Barbara is survived by her husband of 48 years, Wes Harris; daughter Sara Harris, son-in-law Ryan Latham, and grandson Wesley; mother Barbara Hollowwa; and brothers Kerwin Hollowwa ’70 (Carol); Chris (Jean); and John Michael Hollowwa.

John Richard Koller, age 95 of Albuquerque, died January 3, 2021. John is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joan Harrison Koller; his children Katherine Koller Vogt ’69, Steven ’70 (Susan), Michael ’73 (Paula) and Paul ’81 (Debbie) Koller; sons-in-law Rob Griffith (Linda) and Paul Moran, 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and sister Joanie Kongsvik. He is predeceased by his daughters Mary Koller Griffith ’72 and Rebecca Koller Moran ’83.

Rita Leahy Lanier, age 97 of Albuquerque, died November 24, 2020. She is survived by five children, David Lanier ’69, Cliff Lanier ’71, Debbie Gunderson ’73, Chuck Lanier ’75, and Randy Lanier ’78; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Claire Marek O’Dowd of Albuquerque died January 6, 2021. She is survived by her husband of more than 53 years, Gary O’Dowd; her sons, Brendon ’87 (Joan), Ryan ’90 (Amy), and Devin ’93 (Andrea); along with eight grandsons, five grand-daughters, and a great granddaughter.

Genevieve Olguin, age 98 of Albuquerque, died December 5, 2020. She is survived by her sister, Viola Candelaria; daughter Evelyn and husband, Reggie Olguin; two grandsons, Dominic and wife Theresa ’02; Jeremy ’93 and wife, Karla ’98 and eight great-grandchildren including Jordan ’14 and Presley ’23.

Kathryn (Kathy) Roybal, age 85 of Albuquerque, died January 7, 2021. She is survived by four children, Deborah Gorenz, Ben Charles Roybal ’77 (Connie), Carla Parmoon ’81 (Jay), and Diane Roybal; sisters, Mary Lou Pavlich and Phyllis Pavlich; brother, Jim Pavlich; and grandchildren including Ryan Parmoon ’14 and Benjamin Parmoon ’16.

Walter M Sanchez (Walt), age 92 of Albuquerque, died December 10, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Cecilia Sanchez, five children Wally ’68, Ray ’71 (Charlene), Robert ’76 (Tina), Edward ’79 (Annie ’82), and Caroline Day ’84 (Rick), 14 grandchildren including Amanda ’14, Joseph ’13 and Luke ’18, and eight great-grandchildren. 

David (Dave) Martin Shaw ’76, age 62 of Albuquerque died May 16, 2020. He is survived by his wife Marvella Rodarte-Shaw (35 years married), sons Steven Shaw (twin-Robert Shaw) and daughter Monica Lujan Shaw.  Dave is preceded in death by his son Matthew Shaw (2019).

Charles (Charley) Juliana Villa, age 90 of Albuquerque, died February 17, 2021. His survivors include his wife of 65 years, Shirley E Villa, his daughter Carla ’80 (Mike Bickel ’80) Villa, grandchildren Charley Bickel and Edie Bickel ’20, and his brother, Joe (Virginia Stanley) Villa.

James “Jim” P. White, age 78 of Albuquerque, died January 15, 2021. He is survived by his children, Jennifer White, Julie Goldblatt ’86 (John), Christopher White ’89 (Angela Wehr); sisters, Joyce Bousquet and Karen Brienzo; brother-in-law, William Stadnik (Jan); and four grandchildren.
