Dolores Ortiz Aragon, age 94 of Germantown/Collierville, Tenn., died Nov. 20, 2021. Her survivors include six children, Robert Aragon ’70, Philip Aragon ’71 (Veiga), Denise Aragon Baker ’74 (Frank), Gina Aragon Jones ’76, Anna Aragon ’78  and Mona Aragon ’77; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Steven Michael Arenholz ’76, age 62 of Brighton, Colo., died Oct. 16, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Esmerralda; children Steven and Tawnee; daughters-in-law Stephanie and Liely; five grandchildren; parents Art and Catherine; and three siblings Art ’74, Mary ’81 and Helen ’81. He is preceded in death by his brother Russell ’75.

Ben Carrillo, age 98 of Albuquerque, passed away on Oct. 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Beatrice; daughter, Mary Ann ’73 and son, Officer John Carrillo ’78. He is survived by his sons, Ben ’66 (Bobbi), Michael ’67 (Elaine), Mark ’72 (Ramona), George ’75 (Jeanette) and daughter, Cathy Beck (Todd), in addition to grandchildren Jeffrey Carrillo ’05 and Jenna M. Carrillo ’06.

Frank Chiado ’76, age 62 of Bernalillo, died Sept. 9, 2021. Frank is survived by his wife, Kelly; son, Nicholas ’05; daughter, Kayla ’07 (Daniel Walters); two grandchildren; sister, Janet Wilson ’69 (Fred); and brothers, John ’70 (Angela), Joe ’71 (Suzie), Pat ’73, and Michael ’79 (Carlyn).

Frank Anthony Devoti, age 96 of Albuquerque, died Oct. 4, 2021. He is survived by his sister, Rosemary, and children Colonel David Devoti ’66, US Army Ret. (Marsha), Janis Devoti ’68, Jeanine Voller ’70, and Don Devoti ’74; nine grandchildren, including Marisa Mirabal ’03 (Matthew), Dr. Dante Devoti ’06, and Adriana Devoti ’11; and three great-grandchildren. His family writes: Dad had a special love and commitment to St. Pius X High School. He was part of the team who helped identify and select the Louisiana Blvd. campus site. He later served on the school board and various fundraising efforts.

Emilie Hiestand Fanning, age 80 of Greensboro, N.C., died Oct. 17, 2021. Emilie is a former St. Pius X High School administrative secretary from 1978-2003. She is survived by her husband, John Mark Fanning; son, Michael Fanning ’81 (Carie); daughter, Mary Jane Foster’ 83; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her survivors also include Terrie DeRochie ’78 and Tony DeRochie ’80.

Christine Garcia ’05, age 34, died Sept. 22, 2021. She is survived by husband, Nathan Garcia; father, Henry Landovazo (Mary); brothers Christopher Landovazo, Mark Landovazo ’97 and Joe Landovazo ’11.

John Edward Hodock, age 29 of Houston, died September 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Hodock ’64. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; mother Maureen ’62, brothers Michael and Stephen, sisters Katharine ’03 (Jonathan) and Analiese (Robert).

Rita Kelly died Nov. 6, 2021. She is survived by daughters Diane A Kelly ’75 and Donna Kay Kelly Ramacciotti ’77, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Frank T. Krek, age 95, died Oct. 24, 2021. Frank is survived by sons Michael S. Krek ’74 and John T. Krek ’77, seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Jeanette Marie (Lakeman) Lloyd ’67, age 72 of Albuquerque, died Nov. 4, 2021. She is survived by her daughters Linda Zamora and Kim Sanchez (Daniel); sisters Carol Yanniello ’63, Patricia Lakeman ’69, and Kay Bondurant; brother, Tom Lakeman; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. 

Anna Kathryn Mesiti ’92, age 47 of Albuquerque, died Oct, 1, 2021. She is the wife of Ilir Mesiti, mother of Emma and Luca, daughter of John Douglas Guinn and Kathryn Anne Guinn, and sister of Marnee.

Kip Myers, age 65 of Albuquerque, died Sept. 21, 2021. He is survived by his wife Lori; sons Ryan ’09 (Amanda), Nicolas ’12 (Ashley), and Brennan ’17; sisters Peggy and Arla (Randal), and brother-in-law Kip Hohenberg.

Brian Scott O’Malley ’69, age 61 of Albuquerque, died Oct. 13, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Christine O’Malley, and his brothers, Martin ’63, Michael, and John O’Malley ’71. Brian is survived by his wife of 36 years Michaela ’77; sister, Caryn Barre ’75 (Jim Mont); son Shane O’Malley (Jenny), and daughter Erin O’Malley (Isaac Gonzales).

Robert A. Pompa ’62 passed away on Oct. 17, 2021, in Scottsdale, Ariz., his home since 2004. The son of Jose and Lilly Pompa, he is survived by his only sibling, Carolyn Pompa Acree ’64.

Mary Ellen “Missy” (Elsbrock) Rock, age 82 of Albuquerque, died Oct. 9, 2021. Her survivors include her husband, Dr. Richard A. Rock; children Richard Rock, Jr ’85 (Kelly), Mary Gene Rock ’86, Robert Rock ’88 (Gretchen Deutsch); and, Catherine Rock; and five grandchildren.

Mary Catherine Savage (Cook), age 95 of Albuquerque, died Sept. 14, 2021. She is survived by John M. (Marien) Savage, Marianne Barnes, Barbara (Dwight), Peggy Savage Ryan ’69, Loretta (Casey) Ogino ’71, and Theresa Savage Cooper ’78; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
