Akira was staffed by editors Alexandria Esparza and Isabella Clarke and creative writing students Maria Allocca, Piper Amaya, Ava Armijo, Lisanna Aragon, Katrina Barela, Carmen Brandt, Avery Garcia, Kristen Hall, Nicholas Hanson, Erica Olguin, Aspen Owens, Cierra Sandoval, Elisa Valdez, Rose Vigil and Matthew Williamson. The faculty moderator was Jennifer Hillsey.
