Natalie Zamora ’15 signed in July to play professional basketball with the Baerum Basket Club in Norway. Baerum Basket is one of the oldest basketball clubs in Norway and competes in the top professional league, the BLNO, in the country. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2019 from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey where she played point guard for the Knights.
She started all 30 games during her senior season for the Knights as a guard and played in 118 games with 65 starts over her four-year career with the Burgundy and Blue. She led the Northeast Conference last season with an average of 2.3 steals per game and led the
Knights with 2.3 assists per game as well. She also averaged 7.6 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting .781 at the free throw line (57-73) and led the team in minutes played with 909 (30.3 per game).
Over the course of her four years with the Knights, Zamora totaled 604 points, 276 rebounds, 184 assists and 140 steals while playing 2,605 minutes. She made 192 field-goals, including 91 three-pointers, and shot .777 from the charity stripe (129-166) in her career as well.
Zamora was the Knight’s leader in assists and steals as both a junior and a senior, finishing with 2.2 apg and 1.2 spg in the 2017-18 season when she helped lead the Knights to their most wins since the 1992-93 season.
Zamora was a three-time All-State selection in New Mexico. She holds St. Pius X’s single-game, single-season and career scoring records and averaged 28 points per game as a senior in 2014-15.

Sheilah Jennings, a teacher in the English and social studies departments at St. Pius X from 2010 to 2017, took the leap to pursue a law degree in 2017.
